Main Focus:Practical aspects (tips and tricks) of catheter ablation of various supraventricular arrhythmias and idiopathic ventricular arrhythmias, using case-based learning
Safety of catheter ablation
Target Audience:
Physicians and associated professionals who are looking to perfect their procedure workflows in catheter ablation of a broad spectrum of arrhythmias
Program Objectives
Provide a review of different strategies of catheter ablation in various supraventricular arrhythmias and idiopathic ventricular arrhythmias
Demonstrate such strategies using selected case-reports
Suggest safe strategies for transseptal and pericardial puncture
Discuss safety issues and how to be prepared to handle the crisis
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
Identify techniques to improve ablation success for supraventricular arrhythmias and idiopathic ventricular arrhythmias, including use of advanced imaging
Learn safe strategies how to perform transseptal or pericardial puncture
Understand complications of catheter ablation and how to prevent or treat them
